personal data when you use RelicTracker ("we", "our", "us"). It covers
every way you can use RelicTracker: the mobile apps for iOS and Android,
the web app at relictracker.com, and the RelicTracker Companion browser
extension. By using RelicTracker, you agree to the collection and use of
your information as outlined in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our
services:

Account information: When you sign in using
third-party login services (Google, Apple), we collect your email
address, profile picture, and profile name.

Search definitions: The trackers you create — what you
are looking for, the countries you selected, and how far around a place
to look — together with your preferences for how results are displayed.

Results: The listings a search found, kept so that
opening a tracker shows you what was already found instead of searching
again, and your own actions on them, such as which results you starred
or hid.
RelicTracker contains no third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To enable you to log in and personalize your experience within the app.
- To run the searches you ask for, and to repeat them later.

To keep your trackers, results and preferences in step across the
devices you are signed in on.
- To operate, maintain and improve the functionality of our services.
We do not use your data for any marketing or advertising purposes.
4. The Browser Extension
The RelicTracker Companion extension is the part of RelicTracker that
visits marketplaces for you in a desktop browser.

Which sites it visits: To find your results, the
extension reads the pages of the marketplaces that belong to a search
you started. It does not browse anywhere on its own.

Where pages are read: Pages are fetched and processed
in your own browser. The extension does not send the pages it reads to
our servers; only the search results are saved to your RelicTracker
account, exactly as when a search runs from the mobile app.

Marketplaces that require a login: For sites such as
Facebook Marketplace, the extension opens that site's own sign-in page
and you sign in there. We never see your password, and we do not collect
anything from those accounts beyond the results of the search you asked
for.

Your own session: Searches are made with the session
already in your browser, over your own connection, rather than from our
servers.

Settings in your browser: Preferences such as which
sources you have chosen and how results are sorted are stored locally in
your browser, so your setup is still there when you return.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide the services
and features within the app. If you decide to delete your account, all
your associated data will be removed. You can delete your account directly
through the app.
6. Data Security
We are committed to protecting your personal information. To ensure its
security, we use industry-standard security measures, including encryption
and secure authentication systems. Our data storage systems are designed
to safeguard your information, and we take appropriate precautions to
prevent unauthorized access or misuse.
7. Sharing Your Information
We do not share your personal data with any third parties for commercial
purposes. We may only disclose your information if required by law or to
comply with legal obligations. We do not pass your data to the
marketplaces you search: your browser visits them directly, in the same
way it would if you opened the site yourself.

- Request deletion of your data when you delete your account.
